AT RODEOS, ANIMAL CRUELTY IS IN FULL PUBLIC VIEW
(Don't live in the City of Los Angeles? Your voice is still needed! Go here to comment on the L.A. Rodeo Ban City Council file #20-1575.)
Los Angeles City is close to banning rodeo events in Los Angeles.
Los Angeles City Residents - You have all the power to make this happen by emailing your City Councilmember.
Rodeo animals are chased, wrangled, roped, and tormented for entertainment. Horses, bulls, steers, and calves suffer from painful injuries, including broken ribs, backs, and legs, punctured lungs, internal organ damage, and snapped necks.
Rodeos are outlawed in England, Scotland, Wales, Germany, and the Netherlands. Mexico City made bullfighting illegal in 2022, after 500 years of animal suffering.
Recent polling of 600 Los Angeles voting residents has shown strong public opposition to the cruelty involved in rodeos.
Please use the form to easily email your specific Los Angeles City Councilmember today!
Thank you on behalf of the animals.
