FEDERAL CANADIAN AG-GAG LEGISLATION COULD STOP US FROM SHOWING YOU WHAT HAPPENS ON FACTORY FARMS

Dangerous federal legislation that could stop undercover investigators from documenting conditions on factory farms will be voted on soon by the Canadian House of Commons.

Under the pretense of biosecurity, Bill C-275 seeks to silence non-profits like LCA. Undercover investigators and whistleblowers that obtain evidence of animal abuse could face jail time and face massive fines.

Disease outbreaks at farms are caused by poor practices in the agricultural industry itself or by exposure to wild animals carrying viruses. There are no known cases of animal advocates spreading disease, and trespassing is already an offence.

The intention of Bill C-275 is to keep the public in the dark about animal abuse, human rights violations, and environmental concerns on farms.

Tell the members of Parliament to VOTE NO on Bill C-275. The public and the animals deserve transparency on factory farms.
