U.S. RESIDENTS: URGE CONGRESS TO REJECT EATS ACT LANGUAGE IN THE HOUSE FARM BILL
Factory farming interests are pushing hard for Farm Bill language that would dismantle state laws designed to prevent extreme confinement and cruelty to farmed animals.

Right now, Congress is considering passing a version of the Farm Bill with some of the most dangerous language ever proposed - threatening the well being of animals, people, and the planet.

Factory farming, intensive farming, industrialized farming, and concentrated animal feed operations (CAFO) are all terms that describe keeping a large number of animals in a small, enclosed area to produce a large amount of meat, eggs, or milk as cheaply as possible. Maximizing production while minimizing costs. This type of farming is inherently abusive to animals and harms the environment.

Animals and the environment need your help.Your legislators have the power to reject the EATS Act language in the Farm Bill.

You can make a difference! Lawmakers need to hear about issues that are important to you.
