TELL THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF FISH AND WILDLIFE TO ENFORCE THE HISTORIC CALIFORNIA FUR BAN!

California became the first state in the nation to outlaw the sale and manufacture of new fur products. This landmark legislation also made it illegal for online retailers to ship new fur products to California residents.

Despite the law, undercover investigations by Last Chance for Animals (LCA) uncovered several retailers still engaging in the sale of new fur.

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW), which is tasked with enforcing the California fur ban, ignored LCA's complaints, so LCA was forced to take enforcement action.

LCA has busted several retailers for selling new fur, including luxury brand Stefano Ricci located in Beverly Hills. Stefano Ricci agreed to “immediately cease any unlawful sales” and they stopped selling fur online to California residents.
